In just five years the brand has expanded to five Western-Sydney trade stores and 50+ staff, servicing concreters, civil contractors and builders who value speed, range, quality service and on-site expertise.

 

Marketing Brief

Oriem’s founders asked Mind Methods to fuse three legacy brands into one scalable entity and power nationwide growth through Mind Methods full service marketing offering. They needed a modern identity, consistent store experience and a digital engine that could drive both account-based B2B sales and walk-in B2C trade.

Challenges

The merger left fragmented brand assets, duplicate product data and separate customer databases. Competitors were outranking Oriem online, and buyers still equated the business with its legacy names. Logistics complexity and COVID supply shocks heightened the urgency for a seamless, multi-location customer journey.

Strategic & Creative Approach

We kicked off with market, competitor and keyword research to isolate high-value segments and “job-site pain-points” .

Next came a collaborative brand sprint—messaging, tone and visual identity - followed by a phased digital build: website and online catalogue, GA4/Tag Manager events, SEMrush SEO sprints and a Google Ads test-learn loop.

Simultaneously we produced a 500-page trade catalogue, signage kits for all five stores, and sub-brand packaging for the new product range to create shelf impact.
