If there was one thing that I promised myself when leaving the corporate world to start-up Mind Methods with my business partners, it was to ensure that I could be in a business that operated in a flexible and efficient manner without compromising on the quality of work.
Over the past 12 months, we have been very fortunate to be working with Polycom as their lead agency for marketing campaigns and creative for the entire Asia Pacific region. Polycom are a multinational brand, operating from many locations across the continents.

Effective Agency Collaboration
The use of Polycom's collaborative technology is also a reason why a boutique marketing agency like Mind Methods has been able to pitch to, project manage and essentially be able to effectively implement marketing solutions to a global organisation.
Through Polycom’s implementation of their own collaboration tools, we have been able to become a true extension of their team across the region, sharing ideas and working efficiently to deliver results.
Globalising Marketing Campaign Workshops
A great example is when setting the new product launch campaign strategy, we needed to go beyond the brief. As a result we had a very productive workshop involving approximately 10 sales and marketing stakeholders from Australia, Singapore and the United States in around 8 locations on a simultaneous video call.
The workshop did not skip a beat and the campaign ideation process produced a very rich and thorough strategy that had all ideas explored and concerns addressed. The implementation of the campaign has been a success with Polycom already achieving their first sales pipeline target (and there are still more countries within the region that have not yet run the campaign in their region).

We have implemented our own collaboration technologies, which have allowed me to be present in my sons young life…as to what mix of technology we use, well thats another story for another day. Work is one aspect that fuels life and embracing technology is definitely a key to dodging Sydney’s crazy morning traffic!
